in imperial times, the summer retreat ("sommerfrische") was an escape from the court customs – nowadays we define this kind of summer retreat in a similar way, as it is still a small escape from everyday life. the need for relaxation is unbroken. only our everyday life has constantly changed – the demands have increased, and thus also stress and strain. even the expectations of our vacation have increased, which frequently causes stress and hectic to seep in our vacation.
